NARI President Addresses NAHBR Trustees
At the invitation of Chairman Mike Nagel, CGR, CAPS, three leaders from the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) attended the NAHB Remodelers Spring Boards, visiting many of the events and committee meetings.

NARI president Tom Hagner, CRS, spoke to the trustees during the General Session and emphasized the new spirit of cooperation between the two organizations, who are now working together on common issues like lead paint and green remodeling.

After sitting in on two days of meetings, Hagner was “gratified to witness the high level of professionalism that exists within [NAHBR’s] ranks.” He continued, “What impresses me most is the common thread that weaves itself through the two fine organizations.”

Hagner congratulated the NAHB Remodelers on its new logo, NAHBR, and said, “When I look at that logo, I see ‘Neighbor’ Remodelers. And I mean to say very good neighbors in the Professional Remodeling Industry.”

Tom encouraged NAHBR to continue the new spirit, saying, “Our members are relying on us to be the very best we can be as leaders.” [return to top]
