Improve Your Game — Take it to the M Level

Have you heard about the latest buzz in the game of new home sales?

Maybe you’ve seen a colleague with an “M” pin. Maybe you heard one of your coworkers bragging about being honored at the MIRM Breakfast at the International Builders’ Show. Or maybe you heard about one of your teammates getting a raise because of their new designation.

Master CSP is what all the buzz is about. The Master CSP designation offers you more in-depth new home sales training to give your career a boost! By taking it to the “M” level you will advance your career by setting yourself apart as a dedicated salesperson. Master CSP builds upon the knowledge gained in the Certified New Homes Sales Professional (CSP) course. Upgrade your CSP to a Master CSP on the fast track in five simple steps:

  1. The CSP course teaches foundation skills to help you sharpen your selling skills, motivate buyers, and provide exception customer service.
  2. Essential Closing Strategies teaches practical applications to minimize and address objections, as well as strategies and proven techniques for successful closing.
  3. House Construction as a Selling Tool reviews the entire process of building a home and explains how to turn that knowledge into a selling tool. You’ll learn the language of homebuilding, how to read architectural plans, and the land development process.
  4. Increased Profits through Effective Builder-Broker Cooperation* will help foster better understanding between REALTORS® and builders in order to increase mutually beneficial business relationships.
  5. Effective Marketing on a Shoestring Budget* presents sales and marketing ideas for builders with minimal marketing budgets. Learn how to discover your potential market and how to market their products.

* These are two of the many elective credit courses offered by NAHB’s University of Housing. Courses 4 and 5 above are “fast track” courses to the Master CSP designation. 20 elective credits are required to complete the MCSP designation.

Upon completing the requirements listed above, contact NAHB’s University of Housing for a Master CSP application. Return the application and designation fee and graduate with the best at the MIRM Breakfast held annually at the International Builders’ Show.

The requirements listed above can be completed in any order. There is no time limit to complete the designation. Whether you are new to the building industry or a seasoned sales professional, the Master CSP designation is a must.  Join the top producers and award winners….. IMPROVE YOUR GAME — TAKE IT TO THE 'M' LEVEL!

These courses and designations were created by NAHB’s Institute of Residential Marketing and coordinated by NAHB's University of Housing. Designed for professionals in new home sales, Master CSP will enhance your professional image and increase your marketability in the home building industry.
