Customizable Press Release and Talking Points for Lead Paint

NAHB Remodelers has created a template press release about the lead paint regulation and media talking points for local remodelers councils and home builders' associations to use in educating the public about the lead paint rule going into effect on April 22.

Customize the templates with local information and quotes to maximize interest from local media outlets.

The press release gives an overview of the rule requirements and the challenges home owners may experience in finding a certified remodeler after April 22 because of a scarcity of trainers and training opportunities. The media talking points explains details of the regulation, provides data points, and expresses NAHB's concerns with how the rule is being implemented.

Additional remodeling press materials are available for download at www.nahb.org/remodelingcolumnservice.
