Apply for the NAHB Remodelers Leadership Grant

The NAHB Remodelers Leadership Grant has been established to assist in the training of new remodelers’ council leaders at the local level. All 2010 chairman or vice chairmen of a local Remodelers’ council are eligible to apply for the NAHB Remodelers Leadership Grant. The $1,250 grant will be announced in early March 2010.

The purpose of the grant is to help defray the costs of attending the NAHB Spring Board meeting of a local leader who may not otherwise be able to attend. Spring Boards will be held in Washington, D.C., on April 17 - 24, 2010, at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel.

The winner of the grant will be expected to attend the Spring Board NAHB Remodelers meetings. The scholarship cannot be held over for Fall Board. The award recipient will also participate in the leadership orientation activities hosted by the NAHB Remodelers national leadership and staff.

Interested members can learn more and download the application here. The grant deadline is February 1, 2010.
