Deadline Feb. 6: Apply Now for the Spring Board Travel Scholarship
Encourage your local leader to apply for the NAHB Remodelers Leadership grant! This award is a unique opportunity to assist with the travel costs of attending the NAHB Spring Board Meeting to give upcoming leaders within NAHB Remodelers the opportunity to become more involved locally and nationally.
In recognition of Bryan Patchan, Executive Director of the NAHB Remodelers from 1982 to 2000, and his commitment and service to the NAHB Remodelers, this award (formerly named the Bryan Patchan Scholarship) has been established to assist in the training of new leaders at the local level.
All 2009 chairmen or vice chairmen of a local council are eligible to apply for the NAHB Remodelers Leadership Grant. The grant is a travel scholarship to assist with travel expenses for attending the NAHB Spring Board Meeting in Washington, D.C. on May 26-30 and participate in NAHB Remodelers meetings, events, and an exclusive orientation training for grantees. The $1,250 grant will be announced in early March 2009.
