NAHB Remodelers Logo Unveiled
Chairman Mike Nagel, CGR, CAPS, opened the NAHB Remodelersí spring Board of Trustees meeting by unveiling the councilís new logo with a champagne toast to the new name.
The implementation of a new logo is another step in the rebranding process for the new NAHB
Remodelers. The decision to change the groupís name from the Remodelors Council to the NAHB Remodelers came after extensive analysis of the councilís brand recognition and investigation into how to make the council an even more widely-known force in the remodeling industry.
Economists predict that the remodeling industry will surpass the home building industry within the next ten years, and the councilís Board of Trustees wants to make sure that the NAHB Remodelers reaches more of the remodeling population and grows as the industry grows. Updating the councilís name and logo gives it a fresh, new image, makes it easier to search for online and allows it to be seen as associated with NAHB.
Local councils can benefit greatly from the councilís image update. As members of the federation, local councils are not required to change anything about their name or logo as a result of the national change. However, if they wish to adjust their logo, as the HBA of Greater Chicago Remodelers has done, they may do so.
